How do I submit my article?

Prospective authors are encouraged to submit original papers (papers not under consideration elsewhere) in the standard format provided. Submissions can be made both online and offline.

How much does it cost to publish in a JLHD journal?

Detailed information about publication charges can be found on our website. If an author has multiple accepted papers, the publication fees should be paid individually for each paper. Payment can be made through the JLHD Account Provided or via our Payment Link.

Which services are included in the single paper publishing charges? Publication charges cover the following services:

  • Publication of one complete Research Paper Online.

  • Softcopy of Certification of paper publishing (individual for each author)

  • Softcopy of confirmation letter regarding paper published in JLHD (Paper Wise)

  • Paper and author details handling charges

  • Basic formatting

  • Process for assigning a unique paper identification number

  • Typesetting

  • Indexing by Google Scholar, and other databases

How long does it take to publish a single research paper?

The timeline for publishing a single research paper is as follows:

  1. Submission: Authors receive a notification of paper submission within 1-2 days of submission to JLHD.

  2. Review Process: The review process can take more than 30 days for reviewing the research article depending on reviewers and checking for plagiarism.

  3. Notification: Authors are notified of the paper's acceptance or rejection.

  4. Publication: If the paper is accepted, authors are required to pay the publication fees and submit the necessary documents. Once we receive the documents, we process to publish the paper.

Does JLHD provide templates and style files for preparing a journal article?

JLHD offers a paper template for formatting journal articles. A sample paper format can be accessed on our website. Submitted papers must be in MS Word format with the file extension .doc or .docx. To download the JLHD Paper Format, click here.

Authors should also adhere to the following formatting guidelines:

  • Page size: A4 size only

  • Text Column: double

  • Page Margins: Left – 0.51”, Right – 0.51”, Top – 0.75”, Bottom – 0.75”

  • Font: Use Only Times New Roman for the entire paper

  • Figure caption: Font size - 10”, lowercase, placed below the figure, and cantered

  • Table Caption: Font - 10”, lowercase, positioned at the top of the table, and cantered

  • Paragraph: Paragraph indentation by - 0.2”

  • Line Spacing: Single

  • Before: 0” After: 0”

What happens after my article has been accepted?

If your article is accepted by our editorial committee, you will be required to pay the publication charges and submit the necessary documents within one week via a single email to devi.publication1@gmail.com.

Which documents do I have to submit to JLHD after the paper is accepted?

Authors must submit the following documents after paying the publication charges. Please send all the documents in a single email to devi.publication1@gmail.com:

  1. Undertaking by Author Form (scanned copy) - Handwritten and signed by the author. Click here to download the Undertaking Form.

  2. Copyright Transfer Form (scanned copy) - Handwritten and signed by the author. Click here to download the Copyright Form.

  3. Identity Proof of the corresponding author only (scanned copy) - Acceptable proofs include Election Card, PAN Card, College Identity card, or Driving License, passport (Foreign National).

  4. Payment Proof (pdf file of payment made, OR scan copy/screenshot) - The email should include the paid amount, transaction ID, and date of payment.

  5. Final Manuscript/Research paper - Must be in DOC file format.

Can I still make corrections to my article after it has been published online?

Online publication represents the official publication of research results and is citable and quotable. To avoid confusion, JLHD does not routinely replace published documents with updated versions. After online publication, changes can only be made in the form of an Erratum, which will be hyperlinked to the original article.

How can I obtain the soft copy of certificates, confirmation letter, and the published paper?

Once your paper is published, you can directly download the soft copies of published paper and can contact publisher for soft copy of the Publication certificate or Confirmation letter.

Will I receive hard copies of the certificates?

We do not provide hard copies of certificates, confirmation letters, and published research papers by default. If an author wishes to receive hard copies of these documents, a fee of Rs. 500 will apply. Hard copies are provided only for Indian authors or for delivery within India and separate fee will be charged for separate certificate to individual author.

How many authors can be included in a single paper publication?

As per our guidelines, a maximum of 3 authors are allowed for a single paper publication, with charges covering up to 3 authors. An additional charge of Rs. 500 per additional author applies if more than 3 authors are involved. Authors must inform the JLHD Team regarding the number of authors before the paper is published.
